I would have to say no, but there is a slim possibility. Inflation and hyperinflation are very different things- will GBP suffer inflation over the next few years? sure, as will all currencies.
Hyperinflation is almost always accompanied by a total collapse in society ( see weimer germany, venuezala), so I doubt they would let it get to that, they would have to bite the bullet, let rates rise and crash the economy in the medium term (3-5 years) to avoid a mad max scenario

>How will US collapse change situation here?
The impending US exit pump will deroy the fx markets, London IS the fx markets. But no matter what the UK controls banking via the City, especially once the US falls from grace.
>Do you trust GBP to hold value?
Value is subjective, price, nope it won't hold. 70% of global transactions are in USD. The UK operates as the worlds largest tax haven via its offshore jurisdictions. The richest of the rich trust the UK, that doesn't change overnight as its built on centuries of 'stability'. Brexit will only strengthen this.

You live in one of the best countries in the world anon, an actual first world country.

If you're worried & rightly so, buy gold/btc

what is safe these days. Big british companies on the FTSE are propped up by denialists just like in global markets. All hospitality like wetherspoons, property development, financial firms etc holding at the "priced in" 40-50% off pre-covid value. It's bullshit, nothings opening for months and nobodies spending. This isn't 50% off stocks we are seeing right now, it's going to drop further.
"Safe" would be to buy something boring like astrazeneca or GSK, or just hold fiat. I've got £40,000 equity in my own home too, but with a 10%property value drop that's going to pretty much half.
Bitcoin is looking really bullish to me. Precious metals are at all time high's so that opportunity has passed.

why would you say this? are you familiar with Triffin?

Global reserve currencies last 80 years, the US has had its 80 years. The 'exorbitant privilege' you've enjoyed is coming to an end. its not the USs decision to make, its up to the fx markets.

The UKs biggest export is its financial sector, but yea europe is fucked. Along with the Euro.

For the UK Jets will need engines (Rolls Royce), Construction needs constructing (JCB), Luxury cars do well in recessions. Short term is bad yea, but long term it's all good.

Great map though, shows how much the rest rely upon Germany, again bad for the EU.
