It feels comfy as fuck to own LINK. I remember late 2017. I was working 3 jobs in order to buy as much crypto as I could in august. In September I cam to this board and found out about Chainlink. The memes were great, and the anons were legendary. We would pray for Assblaster's spoonfeedings. In November I moved all of my holdings into LINK and that is were it remains today. This is the project. This is how we are all going to make it..together! Its been a comfy hold my brothers, the time is approaching faster then ever. The latest videos on Chainlink's Youtube is unreal. If you do not understand what companies like Celsius does besides take thick loads you should look into them. Its fundamentally game changing, and they NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED LINK in order to make this all come together. Chainlink will create the upcoming MOST SUCCESSFUL companies in the world.

shitposting in 17 was based. everything felt fresh and exciting. I DCA'd through 18 mostly for LINK after I didn't cash out my shitcoins from the bull. Now mostly in LINK BTC ETH and have a little HBAR after watching goldbug Mike.

I didn’t realize how enjoyable 2018 days were of Chainlink until I looked back. Chainlink is very normified now but we always knew that we would trade the OG community for normies once it increased in price. It’s just the OGs are less frequent here...but to be clear, the ride is just getting started even though it’s been over two years for lots of us...I love this life.

Nothing in this life could have taught me the lessons I've learned from the mental gymnastics of holding LINK for years while retards couldn't understand it (still can't) and tried to FUD it... I continued to buy.

I'm more aware of anxious feelings, know that I should trust my gut in my area of expertise, cast iron hands and never stop buying.

Marines never stop, and anyone currently sitting waiting for their stack to increase in value will look back and regret that they never got the money together to buy more.

nah seriously, i actually made frens along the way being into link for so long, i discovered link by absolute chance? not sure if it's luck, but in early 2017 I started to get into crypto mining, and back then I didn't understand anything, all I understood is that I needed a motherboard a few GTX cards and money was flowing, I actually started mining ETH without even understanding what the fuck i was doing. I couldn't understand the blockchain, I heard words like proof of work, staking, even MINING i thought it was like in minecraft or some shit, like legit searching for cryptos...fucking kek I even thought that all cryptos were equal and shit, was a complete moron, if I compare myself to anyone it would be to the retarded Fudders pajeets that lurk here now in biz. I think most are completely illetrate, not only in tech, but even in market understanding and analysis.
since then i came from really far i am a completely different person now, along the way i did so so many things. I really started to understand crypto about in october 2017, exactly when chainlink ICO started, i actually legit wanted to learn, started reading and all, but it was too abstract, took me alot of time to understand proof of work proof of stake, how blocks are mined, what are smart contracts, solidity etc, even started to code smart contracts with solidity and even coded a dapp game. i'm not illetrate in IT i was actually a DEV in java, I truly wanted to learn.

By the way, it's much later that I discovered /biz/ I actually found out about ETH because a friend told me about it and thats why i was mining... i was lurking mostly /pol/ back then... i'm not a racist, but like in early days /pol/ was actually a good alternative to /b/ it wasnt centerted around hate and xenophobia, but rather around news in the world and stuff

I think that's why jannies created /bant/ i think it was either to take out the international hate that was going on on /pol/ or some shit like that who knows.
here I am lurking /pol/ and mining ETH, then the fucking bullrun hits hard, ANY, almost ANY fucking shitcoin was mooning, by the way I didnt know it was shitcoins, back then we were naive I think, i thought many projects actually did something... I started to mine shitcoins, like VERT which was very profitable back then tried to discuss crypto on /pol/ and that's when i found out about /biz/ i think some anon spoke about it, and just by curiosity i went to check it...at first i was really pumped, i was thinking oh shit i'll probably find some elite haxors who will teach me how to mine better, and discuss the setups we use and shit, but oh my fucking god, it was a mess, people larping, pajeets screeching, XRP fags acting smug, XVG monero litecoin crap... it was like watching a wall filled with shit, like literally, i couldn't follow what was going on, so many threads saying some nonesense, also since i thought i was getting good at crypto, there were other terms i never heard of, and new concepts ponzi scams, escrow accounts, TPS, meme stuff i couldn't understand, then legit tried to read on some of that stuff and to tell you the truth i was kinda amazed at the diversity of the techs and shit, but really i couldn't really tell what the fuck was the good from the bad cryptos, actually didn't even understand the point of that fucking shit board, like really i never invested money or anything, I thought everybody was mining and shit didn't have the concept of taking money from my pocket and put it in shitcoins.

i actually left /biz/ it was too much, i really couldn't follow all that crap and it was unrelated to real blockchain talk. I truly thought i found a gold mine and biz was gonna help me make some money.

at about the end of jan 2018 i really got fed up with /pol/ got tired of the psyops and the jew shit, and decided to give /biz/ another chance, my rig was running flawlessly i wanted to upgrade to make more money, remember that back then, since we just hit the top of the bullrun, every mining tool was displaying crazy gains, like you could make 500$ every month with a medium rig, people were going crazy buying GTX cards and they started to become scarce, like really, you couldn't find ANY fucking card, and those who were selling, were selling them like 3 to 5 times the actual price...even online stores they raised the fucking prices and stocks were limited to 1-2 cards max per customer IF you had the chance to get access to some...that's when i decided to check biz because really there was nothing else and couldn't upgrade my rig, it was running flawlessly and making me some good money...
i actually started to talk and discuss with some people on biz, it was funny atleast back then some people actually made the effort to talk.
and really something cought my eye...it was this fucking blue cube i kept seeing posted here, like from time to time i'd see it and people were actually fudding it. like even saw some video I think that's what triggered my curiosity, it was a video of a battlefield maybe the normandy fight against nazis, and you'd see shitcoin logos on marines and they all get shot, and i think i saw the chainlink logo there, and unironically decided ...I dunno how... i decided to give the whitepaper a try... but fucking really just like that since it was fudded, like really i didnt understand why people were going their way hating on chainlink...and the FUD actually got me interested.

after reading it the first time I didn't really get it, and decided to give it a second read since I read some interesting stuff there.
and oh god...after i understood what was going on, a kind of light bulb turned on over my head, I was like wait a minute? ETH needs this...wait if what is said will be done what the actual fuck? this is like what we need in this shitty blockchain space...went on biz to discuss this, and people actually started to discuss things with me, and they showed me the assblaster posts and shit and 4IR, singularity and stuff, actually it was in line what i was thinking.

and thats when I actually decided to fucking sell all my shitcoins i have mined and go all in INTO chainlink with them.

a few weeks pass and i'm like wait a minute what the fuck am i doing? my rig mines too slowly, i need to get a bigger tack on chainlink, and i fucking decided to sell my rigs, it was about feb 2018 i sold y rig like twice the price it cost me, people were still moming into graphic cards, and landed my self a nice fat stack of link, oh wait...fat? i managed 10k linkies at the time, i thought it was enough, until the linklet syndrome struck me hard, wait if i have 10k maybe i can get to 20k and double my gains, at 20k i was like wait i'd have to pay taxes i need 30%more; at 35 i was like what if i reach 50k?

It's good to have you fren.

My Chainlink journey started in 2013, when I had a similar revelation regarding the true utility of decentralized network graphs.

Given that a DAG can always store roots in a few bytes as a blockchain transaction, I set about creating a framework to offer any service on-demand, with a focus on creating a network of trust that could eventually, incrementally, bridge the gap between hiring human and automated systems; and through redundancy offer heretofore unseen security.

By 2015 I'd gathered a small group of like-minded coders and business developers, and we were working our asses off when one fine gentleman, a professor of game theory who'd taught me back in the day, pointed out a very interesting property of the network graph we were creating. He brought up the oracle problem, and pointed out that the financial framework for solving is was a zero-sum game.

It was then that we decided that we would continue to bust our asses off to be the first network to offer a decentralized and implicitly redundant source of trust and truth. But that if ever there came a competitor with connections unavailable to us, that any wealth we'd created would necessarily be rolled into that competitor's stock or token without hesitation.

Years later, I found myself on /biz/ reading about this project called ChainLink that was solving the oracle problem from a completely different angle. One the presupposes victory - making the few individual people who control the majority of the world's wealth their first clients.

With the legitimacy of the team, the underlying logic, the coevolution of an idea I'd already vetted as worthy of a decade of my time.. there was no question.

I sold everything. I'm all in.
