Complete brainlet here. Do I need an equal amount of say EHT or UBT/ LINK to stake to the pool?

I have a suicide stack of 5k UBT. Just wondering what to do with it, and how do I go about providing liquidity.

For example, as a liquidity provider of shitcoin xyz and eth, do I ideally want xyz appreciating, depreciating or sideways price action as long as there is volume?
