Anyone else doing some social comparison and it's making them feel shitty?

> Be me
> Make $50k a year
> Good Job
> Feel good about self

Then...
> Hear about a 28 year old anon I know, that just got a job making $150k a year in some kind of computer coding / web coding job
> Another anon I know, 29 year old, just got a managing position at some insurance company, making $90k a year
> Anon I know just finished dental school and his first job starting, 4 day work week, he makes about $180k a year

Like fuck man.

You're almost above the average household income in the U.S. Don't sweat it. The people you are talking about probably live in HCOL areas where they have to get paid that kind of money to get people out there.

Just do you.

IKTF OP, almost exactly same situation as you. Just know that it's not like everybody is doing better than you. Hell, you're probably better off than 95% on this godforsaken board of NEETs.

The most important thing you can do is focus on yourself and continue working to improve your situation if it bothers you so much. Don't worry about what other people are doing, find your own way and remember that money isn't everything. There's other aspects to consider.

Besides, some of these $100k+ cucks are ugly as sin and will never procreate.

Try looking up some stats about the income and net worth of the average American, that will make you feel better.

Also income is only one side of the story, someone might make $150k wagecucking day in day out and living a miserable stressed out existence, spending one third of their wage on rent in NYC or San Fransisco then paying over a third of their salary in tax leaving them with fuck all.

I broke my glasses and since I have social anxiety I need to gather my confidence only to go to the mall and buy a new glass.. but before that I'll have to ask money from my mother.

If you're not making 100K by 30, you're PROBABLY not ever going to be rich.

That being said, 50K for a fresh college grad is pretty typical. As long as you're learning more each year and leveraging your skills/experience you can be on the fast track to 100K as a wagecuck.

Don't expect to make more than 100-150K as a wagecuck unless you are a complete Chad. Your best bet as always is to keep learning and saving money so your can strike out on your own some day. Self-employment is a godsend.

I'm not him but I'm studying comp sci in college right now and I would say that anyone that is really motivated can learn it on their own.

I learned all my web dev skills through a club and practice on my own time (college has yet to teach me shit about web dev). Start learning on https://www.codecademy.com/ (If you're motivated you can complete the courses there pretty fast (plus its free), then work on some projects of your own to really learn.

Most of what I learned was from coming up with a website project and then forcing myself to get started and to google things I didn't know along the way.

If you're motivated you can do it.
