How profitable is it to run a fake news website?

i used to work at a fake news organization and they some money. there were a couple of people that pumped a lot of money into the firm that gave us the narrative they wanted and we would come up with completely fake news or twist existing news around that narrative and publish it. basically we shilled for rich/powerful people. once in a while our stories backfired but we would just delete them or edit them after the fact to make it look like we didn't do anything wrong. people seem to forget very quickly so that wasn't really a problem. overall it was pretty fun, but not something i'd want to do long term.

You make me sick you piece of filth. Its bad enough having to sift through the lies of the mainstream and established media, let alone having ordinary people like yourself wanting to participate in this.

Fuck you.

If you're too dumb to figure out whether the information you're getting is from a reliable source, you should kill yourself.

Dumb people are the perfect target audience since they are less likely to block ads.

I hadn't considered shilling stories for rich people. That's a pretty good idea.

Google is now acting against fake news sites. So they won't be profitable in the future.
