Absolute newfag here with no connection to financial topics whatsoever

My roommate approached me today with the Idea of investing a small amount (Like 200-300 Euros) into BTC due to the halvening.

Can we expect to gain a little amount of Money or are we just normies waiting to get rekt due to its volatile Nature?

it's already peaking for 3 weeks now, it will probably start falling a bit soon, now if you care about bitcoin you dont give a fuck, if you care about fiat you give a fuck and stay out for a couple of days

IF you are willing to gamble & lose, just use cfds & crazy leverage

Yes, buy an asset that has gone up over 100% in a few weeks without retracing. What could go wrong?

I bought in on Monday around $8800 and got out Friday at around $9800, tidy $3k profit.

I'm not a crypto buff but I do lurk on here to get some autistic insights. I think once the post halvening dump happens (surely it must), it'll be a great one to buy and hold against the backdrop of massive QE around the world. A lot of institutional investors have visibility of this and I think we would have already seen much more purchasing as a hedge against inflation if it weren't for the short term volatility implications of this halvening.
