That said, how does that explain the constant sell volume while buy volume has been constantly decreasing? If investor sentiment is positive enough for the long term, where is the matching volume to push markets higher? The past month has been sideways movement around a 50%-60% retracement from the low. The only significant movement upward is in futures, accounting for 70% of daily movement. 25% of the time, the market hours movement lowers gains made by futures. If investors see positive long term potential, where is the corresponding continuation of the rally during market hours?
