The other SHA256 coins (BCH and BSV) have already halved, i.e. miners only earn half as much mining those chains.

So now all the miners on those other chains have pointed their rigs to the SHA256 chain that still hasn't halved and thus the most profitable.

Based on SHA-256 algorithm developed and first published in 2001 by the NSA. They could have destroyed BTC in its infancy by a 51% attack. BTC is the only one that has been allowed to grow, without fault. In the past there were other bitcoin virtual currencies that were killed off, when they could off had the chance to become BTC. Flooz, Beenz and Digicash. For some reason BTC flourished in its infancy and nobody stopped it, and the hash rate grew and grew. Somebody was consistently mining it and protecting it from the start.
