if its big company merchandise, then contact the company. they usually have shit ton of law power. Just write an email to them linking the etsy store pretty quick and straight foward.

Literally nothing will happen even if you do. They'll get an automated message telling them to stop. If they're dumb enough not to they will get another automated letter regarding a claim against them. If they do stop, it ends there, no trouble, nothing.

Having to stop would be trouble for this person, a large portion of their income comes from this type of merch. Unfortunately they also have a stream coming in from Final Fantasy swords which I imagine would be harder to shut down

This is one thing that concerns me in achieving my goal of causing trouble, there is already so much 3D printed knockoff stuff on Etsy, it's likely a large part of what Etsy sells these days

They'll struggle to defend themselves, 3D printing is still manufacture. If they're selling them as FF swords or Adult swim merch it's a slam dunk. If they're not describing them, if the design is the same then that's still infringement. There are better looking redheads

Etsy will automatically shut down their shop after 2 or 3 infringements. The complaints have to be made by the copyright owner though. Another way would be to buy something from them and open cases, this causes grief. Hopefully you're doing this from a legit standpoint and not to just be a cunt to somebody.

Depends how rude they've been, this could be putting food on the table for their kids. Once a shop is closed the whole IP and postal address gets banned forever, so family member's shops will also be shut down. Well it's a clear infringement, take screen shots as backup evidence, but the corp lawyers should be able to take it from here. It's normally a template copy write infringement doc they send out. Give them the store html, the offending items html and the esty report/contact us html, make it easy for the IP lawyers because they're normally idiots.

normally big companies have IP lawyers on retainer so they don't need to figure out if it's worth their time. I'd just use the shotgun approach, type up a short template and use it for every company.
