Beta net is capped at 42 txs/minute. This means 60480 txs/day. This means the rewards can only be 604.8 USD per day or under 6k LIT from main net operations.
The pool alone is amassing 26k LIT right now, so the majority comes from the ecosystem.

However once mainnet comes, transactions might skyrocket tremendously and it will be enough to sustain similar staking rewards as today. If there will be some lit remaining in the pool after mainnet coming online, they might burn that as well.
The worry is indeed if ecosystem drains before mainnet or not.
