Roche Holding received emergency use approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for an antibody test to help determine if people have ever been infected with the coronavirus, the Swiss drugmaker said here on Sunday.

The drugmaker said its antibody test, Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2, has a specificity greater than 99.8% and can help assess patients’ immune response to the COVID-19 virus.

Bought AAL at around $9.50 and bought SKYW at around $20.

I'm still positive in both of them, so hypothetically if I sold on Monday at current market value I would come out positive.

It's still painful to do though, since AAL was like $15 or more at one point and sky west was a little bit higher as well. thursday and friday were brutal.

I like LMT for that. If the USN actually uses its carrier air wings on something, it'll be a real test as to whether the F-35 was worth the money. I think it will do its job well. Other options: TXT and GD are both competing in the NGSW project along witb Sig, but that's not going anywhere. USN just signed a deal for new frigates, but the company doing that is Italian. RTX is in the running for a nuclear cruise missile with USAF, as well.

Selling most if not all my different stocks and options (except far dated puts and maybe calls) if it's green....probably if it's red as some of my positions are still profitable. Dont care if it goes green all next week. Should've never gone in as hard as I did when I was certain this facade was going to end sooner or later unlile the delusional "stocks only go up" memers. Had the facade lasted long enough I could've made some sweet gains to offset the risk of holding but that would require at least 6 to 8 more weeks of the nonsense I've seen for the past 4 weeks.

It's been attempting to push through the 50%-60% resistance for the past three weeks. Buy volume has been on the decline every day, excluding last Wednesday on the GILD treatment news, whereas sell volume has been slightly increasing over the past two weeks, and has been higher than buy volume in the same time frame. I don't think there's any more momentum to propel it back upward, and the overall market sentiment is going to be hard hit by reality over the remaining two months of this quarter, whether its wanted or not. It's a massively risky move to try and catch this falling knife and "buy the dip" given the past three weeks, but then again, greater fool still applies.

All of the bears, and people calling for a crash makes me want to buy calls.

Let's face it, all of us young investors wish we were smart enough to perfectly time the markets, some of us did and made a ton of money in the past few months.

Some of us, like myself, timed the initial drop perfectly, but got greedy with my PUT positions and only raked in a modest 300% return over the past 3 months.

Let's just face the facts, the FED fucked up Warren Buffets bread and butter, you can't buy undervalued companies, if the whole stock market is being propped up, by the FED buying junk bonds.

People comparing this crisis to 2008, are ridiculous. We are doing more in QE in a single day than the entire 2 years of the financial crisis.

And, on Wednesday last week the FED announced that they will be continuing their operations until the market returns to "normal" function.

It's fucked up, it's wrong, small businesses are being wiped out, there will be lots of economic pain, but we will continue to go higher.

The Fed will maintain their low interest rate policy into the foreseeable future so as to spur economic recovery, as well as continue purchases as needed, but they've been tapering since they first took action in March. Their goal is to maintain a functioning economy, not prop up the equities markets. Maximizing employment, targeted inflation, and preventing systemic issues that would "lock up" the broader economy or send us into a deflationary spiral.

Moreover, despite preventing liquidity issues during the drop in March, the Fed cannot prop up Main Street directly, that falls to our representatives and fiscal stimulus. As the economic damage rolls in, there could be knock-on effects that mimic precisely what Buffet was discussing with regards to his losses in airlines. Comparing the economic effects and the psychology of market sentiment is prudent, and to dismiss it outright is foolish. People taking the "don't fight the Fed" meme too seriously are going to get burnt.

That's stupid. It would require a massive conspiracy from all the different reporting institutions many of which are not operated by the Chinese.

you can review a lot of the data here
https://www.bloomberg.com/markets/economic-calendar

I can think of two explanations:

-One china is an export economy and lack of global demand is hurting them.

-The other is after the lock down ended there were a lot of orders and prep for a potential return of demand. Maybe there was even a surge of demand as people got out of the house for the first time. Then over time the economic reality is sinking in. People and businesses realize the amount of uncertainty that still exists and are cutting back.

Gold is a useful hedge.
Silver is a shitstock that won’t become valuable until manufacturing bottoms, but you can speculate on it if you’d like.
Platinum, from what I understand, is extremely useful and valuable, but is also largely tied to manufacturing and the economic cycle. I need to do more research though.

Hyperinflation is most likely a meme, as it doesn’t happen to the world’s largest countries with significant military and economic power. I do expect a slam up in inflation when the economy bottoms, but it won’t be like Venezuela or Zimbabwe.

I mean, did you ever hear anyone talk about the strong Zimbabwe or Venezuelan currency? What about the strong dollar?
