temtum’s SMS payments have zero embedded transaction costs and are extremely secure, with two-factor authentication and private passwords that are not stored by the network. While other SMS payment systems rely on third-party payment processors, temtum’s SMS payments are network-based and decentralized on temtum’s Temporal blockchain. This protects wallet holders’ funds and transactions from the oversight of corrupt banks and politicians.

The temtum network was designed as a new architecture built from the ground up to transform the way that value is exchanged and stored. temtum can be used on a standalone basis from wallet to wallet, via SMS, or integrated into payment systems worldwide using a simple QR code. T

I don't trust it. I was looking into TEM after it piqued my interest a couple days ago but aside from their glossy webpage and whitepaper, I found no evidence of actual code.

If they really were what they claim to be I'd expect at least being able to download and compile a node on my server, but even that seems to be too much to ask for. Their developer documentation seems like a classic REST API docsite rather than a real blockchain, so it makes me think that their service is actually centralised and that their whitepaper is a crock of shit. I suspect that the no-name exchanges that have listed their coin is in cahoots with the dev team and that it is simply a very well disguised scam.

Hard pass.

SMS payments require a trusted third-party to process a transaction for you.

How exactly do you build a SMS-blockchain bridge in a trustless protocol?

And I did look at their github, but considering the last update on their node code was more than 6 months ago I'm thinking vapourware rather than anything else.

How about you look through the code instead of shilling? It is a cleverly designed scam - try searching for "tcp" or "udp" in their "node daemon" code and tell me what you find.

It seems like the netcode is being sent over NATS, but the fucking code is connecting to a central "block server" to receive blocks. It's not a real node because it isn't even publishing it's own IP details for peer discovery.

Don't come here in a year and bitch that no one warned you.
