Precious metals are dumb because cryptos are superior forms of money and have way more price potential. Precious metals will maintain your wealth but crypto will actually bring you wealth. Precious metals are only appealing to boomerfags who already have plenty of fiat saved up and want to maintain its value during the depression. They’ll never be widely used forms of money again though. Crypto has replaced gold/silver in that sense.

I just bought $90 worth of Silver. 1 Oz Silver Buffalo rounds. According to APmex it's going for $19 but I bought mine at a local retailer for $18 so I guess I got a deal. This is the first time I've purchased precious metals. I'd like to go and buy $40 worth of coins a week from my unemployment check since it's basically free money anyway.
I really wanted Maple Leaves but they're all gone. Everything at my precious metal retailer is gone outside of Silver rounds and American Eagles. If Maples pop back up should I buy them? I've heard they're very good but with how Canada is basically imploding I don't know if it's wise to invest in a Canadian coin.

There's the spot price, which tracks futures contracts prices per ounce. But even with futures contracts you can't actually get 1 oz at spot price, you HAVE to buy 100 ozs at a minimum. So the spot price is only the price per ounce, of 100 ounces.
If you want to buy 1 oz, you have to go through a retailer, who usually charge a premium. Is there anything tracking the retailer ask price for an ounce of gold the way futures contracts tracks the spot price?
