Try to keep these posts in /smg/ , but you're fine dude, Q1 just came out, and everything is dipping low at the moment. You can buy now, just keep it limited to hard-hit industries. You'll still make money as long as you hold, but you just won't make as much as you >>could have.

Just keep in mind, investing during corona is a huge gamble. If anything in your portfolio bankrupts, you're fucked. Keep it simple and safe. Invest in companies that the govt WILL bail out if needed.

It's still low enough to invest in an index fund. You don't need to hit the one-day absolute bottom (March 23) to profit. I'm a relative beginner and I bought in a few days after that and am still in top.

don't reply to me because I'm closing this tab

I'm confident, but still a bit weary. I'm basing it all on the best case scenario of whenever the country lifts all of the restrictions, everyone is going to go effing nuts with their spending and travel. It seems likely, because I know everyone is really antsy at the moment.

That's not what people do when they lost their jobs and are broke. Spend the next 30 minutes of your life watching this if you ever want a remote chance of making it.

boomers have all the money. they are going to be paranoid about going bankrupt or getting the virus from travel for a long time. People will be hoarding their money instead of spending on frivolous shit because of 2nd wave virus FUD thinking we might shut down again. Even when things open the economy will be nothing like what it was before this

"essential" workers, aka PLAGUE slaves, workers from home, and unemployment leeches are all doing really well at the moment. I've been making more money off of PUA, CARES, and PPP than I've ever dreamed of. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this kind of scenario.

Invest in small caps and hotels. Not everything has recovered yet.

Yes, we're going back to normal and soon. Didn't the roaring twenties happen right after the biggest fucking pandemic since the Black Death? More importantly, turn off the J__-owned media that constantly kvetches death-counters. The statistics do not support this hysteria. Idaho is not J__ York City. They want Florida beaches closed, but they keep NYC subways open...?

The infection rates are very low and the death rates are incredibly low for the general population. So, if you're >70 years old and/or have pre-existing conditions, then you're at much higher risk. Listen to Ann Coulter who said, "use the national guard to secure the nursing homes and let the rest of the country live their lives."
Personally, I'll wager that after these absurd lockdowns end in the next few weeks, we'll all see no resurgence in cases and the doomers and J__ in the media getting egg on their face.
