I missed the bottom of the stock market /biz/ I didn't invest anywhere near the bottom and now I have to deal with investing in what is happening now, we're on our way back to normal

It's still low enough to invest in an index fund. You don't need to hit the one-day absolute bottom (March 23) to profit. I'm a relative beginner and I bought in a few days after that and am still in top.

The infection rates are very low and the death rates are incredibly low for the general population. So, if you're >70 years old and/or have pre-existing conditions, then you're at much higher risk. Listen to Ann Coulter who said, "use the national guard to secure the nursing homes and let the rest of the country live their lives."
Personally, I'll wager that after these absurd lockdowns end in the next few weeks, we'll all see no resurgence in cases and the doomers and J__ in the media getting egg on their face.
