Will I get da big boot?
Due to banking issues I was unable to put money on my account to catch the crash back in March.
Then the same for the oil crash.
I finally have money on my trading/online broker account.
Is the stock market about to severely crash because of all the businesses closing or is it just going to continue to exist in a vacuum that doesn't appear to reflect the state of the world?
I won't be able to make this money again for some time so I don't want to rush in and lose it in a gigantic crash. Not that anyone does.
I know there's /SMG/ but it's too eclectic with topics.

businesses are opening all up again in the world so yet is the time to invest probably. But expect some fluctuations. Also if you wanna stay "safe" then stick to big companies.

Well where I'm from, for example, we were supposed to be reopening on May 5th but yesterday they admitted that isn't happening. Lock down through May at least.
But yeah I know it will probably only completely destroy restaurants/hotels/tourism/airlines.
But surely if everyone loses their jobs less people should buy shares and the price should plummet no?

Have you ever traded SPY?
If the market IS going to ignore the job losses etc. then that seems like a pretty safe bet.
I think it even pays dividends

Oil storage and midstream. I'm avoiding tankers though.

Are there companies that operate solely based on storage?
Do you think USO is fucked?

Nobody even knows what's going on with USO anymore. The old pros aren't touching it. It's like a front heavy USL at this point.

EPD, MMP, and PAA are good storage and logistics picks.

Oh yeah it's going to be a bloodbath. People want to believe in miracles, where you shut down the economy and everything just continues as usual. But the economy has ground to a screeching halt. This is just the beginning.
