I successfully sold the top for probably the first time ever - will someone please tell me if I should buy back in now or wait to see if it drops further?

I don't want to get left behind if le halving moon happens sooner than expected

This is the problem with profit taking and selling the top - At some point you have to buy back in again or you will miss the climb back up and it is never clear when to do this

Much easier to just hold throughout. Fewer trades and fewer opportunities to make a mistake

same here man. I sold the top and I have been miserable all night long, sitting at my laptop waiting to buy back but dont know when to. I can't even study.

that's my feeling now

I think I'd rather buy in now and risk a drop than risk missing another rise desu

I nurse a feeling it may go down a bit just below 8.5k, but can't count on it. I have always regretted buying back too soon, and have done that all too often. I wanna wait this one out.

>bought in at 4400 after the corona crash
>bought more on the way up
>sold once I profited a grand because markets were extremely uncertain
>bought back in at 5900
>same story, took some profit, backed out amid this clown market we are living in
>bought back in at 6900
>you already know what I did
>sat on the sidelines for a week or two
>FOMO'ed back, all in at 8000
>am trying desperately to resist selling again

Initial investment was 20 grand.

The more trades you make, the bigger the chances you're gonna fuck up. Let me be a lesson to you.

Isn't anywhere below where you sold good to buy back? youre growing your stack, and you know it's going to surpass where you sold originally, eventually.
