did we crush the poc 7,5k, 7,6k? big if true.

>> No.18739618

I say, btc will retest the poc as support and if it holds, off we go to higher ground.

poc = point of control.
its the price level where most volume is situated (has been traded). its volume profile terminology.
useful to spot resistance/support levels.

strongest is the point of control (most volume).
then come the high volume nodes (hvn).
between those are the low volume nodes (lvn) and price tends to move quickly over those.

truly biz though. I thought more people by now know this shit... guess not

Your settings are wrong, and LVN's are more often than not, bounce levels.
Most swing failure highs/lows occur at LVN's.

HVN's and POC are just congestions levels.
LVN's = resistance.

thanks for the heads up. ive seen price getting rejected by or supported by hvns often enough to see that it as is said congested there and it takes a direction from there. lvns which are between two hvns tend to act as a empty space where price strikes through fairly quickly.
in this case if it goes up it can definately visit 8,5k.
the volume profile in pic related has no settings. its a poor mans vp. bitscreener.com

i will go do some homework again though.

on LowerTimeFrames, I short or long from LVN's and take partial profit at POC or HVN, this is where you will find majority of the buyers and sellers (liquidity pool)

Never ever long or short at POC or HVN's that is the static mean.

If you a see a rejection or bounce from POC, then the market is trending. (a b c waves)
just add a moving average, if the moving average is surpassing POC or HVN's, market is trending.
More often than not, price will return back to HVN or POC because it's a price level with high amount of interest.

Yeah, my target is $8500 then back to a HVN or POC.

i'm with you on that, seems like it broke above the poc in pic related but I was not sure since bitscreener vp is not very precise. I do algo swing trading with only daily candles but since I havent traded these last pumps I was not sure if the current trend is exhausted or not yet. might go in with a few longs if we go further up the next day or two with the target of 8,5k. yes.

my algo tells me long for most of the alts + btc.

the thing is that it has been telling me this since two weeks now so I am wondering when people will start to take profits big scale.
