So BSN will use FISCO BCOS as the open-source protocol to build its national network for blockchain as a service. Also, I found that FISCO will be integrating DAML smart contracts for WeBank. I also found this extract of code on the Chinese BSN website where they call an Oracle in a contract called "BizContract" (though included this more for the memetic energy than anything). So I am missing a link, between Chainlink and FISCO, thought some autists might be able to help. Or maybe the missing part is that DAML will be used in BSN too, in which case we'd still have to prove the DA-chainlink connection. I know it's not the best crumb ever but thought might be worth mentioning. Bonus: have a look at FISCO's logo...

"The Bianjie team recently open-sourced implementation of integrating Chainlink as a trusted oracle into iService. The synergy between IRISnet and Chainlink has been a long time coming. During the BSN interview with Coindesk, Mr. He also mentioned besides Cosmos that BSN would also like to support Chainlink for oracle service, and we can expect IRITA and IRISnet to provide a very convenient integration path when bridging the Chainlink’s services for consortium blockchain applications on BSN."

Still looking for that myself. All I know is DA + WeBank, and WeBank is one of the founding consortium.

"The network has done the same for China’s home-grown protocols such as internet giant Baidu’s Xuper Chain, and FISCO, developed by a consortium of China’s Shenzhen government agencies and local tech companies including Tencent, WeBank and Huawei."

Cosmos and IRISnet, through IRITA SDK, are also involved.

ah yes, a mention for all anons. You've got to be careful about that. Chinks love to deliberately remove stuff from the english versions of their websites either because they are too lazy to translate it or they don't want the gweilo to know. Always check the original version and put it through google translate. Sometimes even whole paragraphs or images will be missing.

Thanks anon. Yeah I'm starting to doubt of the chainlink/DA connection. If link was natively embedded in daml, we would have heard of link with the webank info, or even with other DA related news. And from the bsn info it seems that they need irisnet to bring link to the platform. Also i wonder if daml will be supported in bsn.
>>18735690
You're correct, the English bsn site is useless, go to the chinese one if you're looking for something

I attended the Durham meet-up and asked the DAML speaker during his talk about whether or not DAML leverages Chainlink at all. He said “No it does not”.

Thanks. So I guess this settles it. Let's just hope that as Link's utility grows, daml starts integrating it. Would be cool to have a chainlink library in there (I guess)

DA sucks. They are behind the curve & stuck trying to sell ice to eskimos. Blythe noticed this and left immediately, many others have left since then. Link doesn't need DA...

Yes but then noone will need LINK you faggot, look at what corporations is DA working with... If blockchain and smart contracts need LINK, DA would be integrating and planning to use it...

Thanks, feel free to pick it up from here. I guess the best lead is to comb through the FISCO code in the BSN website where I found the Biz contract. That is, if you believe in meme magic of course ;)

Wrong.. Others are doing what DAML does and they are doing it in a more transparent, open source way.
>>18736505
The way he answered the question makes me believe there is definitely non-disclosure around DAML. He was asked about Chainlink and he paused for a very long time before saying "DAML is not incorporating Chainlink *as such*", leaving the door open for other/future offerings utilizing chainlink.

Imagine thinking that the "digital asset markup language" won't need oracles.
