Shrimp are the best investment at the moment while the markets are moving sideways.

How to set up: you put a tub in your basement, fill it with water and install a cheap sponge aquarium pump. You throw them feed every once in a while, clean the filter once a week.

Where to sell them: you call up your local restaurants and ask for the name of the head chef. You give them free samples of your 'artisanal' shrimp. Tell them you deliver the shrimp live, your product is fresh - this differentiates you from cheap Asian farmers.

Why shrimp:
Because they are low maintenance and high yield.

Improving your harvest: you can make a hamster wheel for your shrimp or better yet - a treadmill. It beefs them up, ripped shrimp sell well

Discussion about other forms of indoor farming are also acceptable here (carp, rabbits, sea plankton)

Imagine what you can do with a tub, it sits empty most of the day - it could be earning you money.

This also sounds good because you don’t have to kill them and can simply delude yourself that your shrimp are going to a different fish tank.
