Currently you can stake on the site. Even the poorest Africans can afford mobile phones and can transmit several megabytes of data over time. We'd at worst take as much bandwidth as a fraction of a dogshit DSL, around 1400 kb/s and could work anywhere. If everyone has at least some on their mobile phone and transferring is quick and easy, who's to say we can't become the standard.
