Boeing is a shitco
The 737 max crashes made it airbus' bitch.
The past two decades it was 50/50 boeing airbus, but going forward airbus is gonna get 55-60%.
Airbus also got hit just as hard due to corona even though more customers canceled more planes with boeing.
Airbus makes by far the better short range planes with the A320 and A220 being superior to the 737's (even before they started to crash and burn).
Boeing beats airbus on the long range with a very good 787 handily outperforming the a350 and a new version of the 777 coming out, also better than the 350 or 330.
(The 380 is gone btw, and the 747 doesnt matter much)

But the anticipation is that demand will pick up first for the smaller planes where boeing has shit the bed.
Oh no no no, nothing goes well for boeing.
Take the airbuspill.

>>18685875
Oh, largest growth is by far coming from asia, with the US being pretty full with planes already.
So the domestic market is pretty small the next decades for boeing. Slightly less so for airbus with Eastern europe still picking up.
Also the tariff war of daddy trump pushes asians and middle easterners towards airbus.

Airbus has a large stake in Embraer. Boeing has a large stake in bombardier. Europe needs airbus. America needs Boeing. None of them will fail. Sure they may drop more in the near term, but eventually they will head back up.

I mixed up Boeing and airbus. Either way what I said holds. None of them will fail. They are backed by America and Europe.

>> No.18688555

>>18688282
Thats what this shitshow was about right Boeing was supposed to be backing up Embraer by following through with this agreement where they would get 80% of the civilian part of the company. But now that Boeing cut them lose due to coronavirus means that they aren't backed like bombardier.

>> No.18688659

honestly, I think that's a GOOD thing. IMO, Boeing wanted to destroy Embraer

Can Embraer tank further or is this the bottom though?

Also what makes you think Boeing went through all this trouble to basically wreck a company that was going to let them compete in the mid and personal jet range.

I've flown in both a bombardier and Embraer planes before, and IMO Embrear, despite coming from Brazil, was so much better. A lot more leg room, comfortable and more modern.

Also how do we short Brazil in general, or are there stocks worth holding from them like Banco Santander Brazil?
