You purchase put options. Basically you think the stock is going to go down, so you pick how much you think it's going to go down by and when you think it will happen, then purchase a contract at the current premium price of your options.

There's are other factors such as theta (the rate that your options decrease in value over time) and in the money vs out of the money, but those are the basics.
