And the best part? I live in my parent's house. So that 93k annual (before taxes) is going straight into savings/investments

Their HR recruiter on LinkedIn caught me. They were trying to fill the role quick and I was the ideal candidate because I came from a technical editing background

I have a BA in journalism from an affordable state school where I worked in their marketing department as a writer

five years as a technical editor at a software company where I basically was the lead web developer and lead editor for a team of 12

Literally right time and right place and working for a small company where I had to wear a dozen hats so I got experience in like six areas of tech/marketing/writing. And also this company pays really well.
