Hi Anons,

I'm the Anon from yesterday who made the thread about the Github pull request where a Chainlink developer indicated they're under pressure to make a release.

Unfortunately, sinister bears and swingies took over the thread in an attempt to FUD Chainlink for their own benefit.

Not a problem though, today if we look at the pull request, we can see that was successfully closed and all issues were addressed. As well, we glean some new information as Benedict Chan, CTO of BitGo, commented on the code and indicated future problems like this should be addressed in a meeting. This indicates that Benedict Chan is at least working with Chainlink, at most potentially working for Chainlink in some capacity.

So what is BitGo? They seem to be a large institution offering a variety of services to exchanges, asset managers, liquidity providers, and issuers. Services range from custody, digital lending, custom enterprise API's, and even staking.

Thus, the FUD from yesterday was simply cope, and we are still poised for exciting developments.

>Rory in telegram:
It could be, if the users want it. It’s just an API at the end of the day. The good thing is that it appears to be a high quality one. All it delivers are the prices on Coinbase and if you rely only on that data then you have the same issues you would on relying on any single API. Then you have the things being worked on by Synthetix like commodities pricing, and indices. The Coinbase API does not give you that and may never give you that. So it is a step in the right direction but its limited. What this really signals is that the major players in this space realize the importance of data quality and the value of data in general.

Do we have an update on the termination of this new manipulator dev? His grandstanding is at fault here for pissing off the CTO of a client over a total nothing burger. Sergey, you just give us the word and your will shall be done.
