Credit card rewards are a free 1-5% off everything you buy. Your lucky if your checking account pays even 0.5% interest rate.

Which really, isn't that much, the real benefit of a credit card is much better fraud protection. Its really, really stupid to use a debit card if you have the discipline to use a credit card property.
