Yo /biz/ness mens, how's your stack of real money doing?

What's that?

Good luck surviving past the crash, weirdo.

How can they be shit in a deflation?

did you see what happened in India?

the government decided to withdraw the 500 and 1,000 rupee notes overnight, cash can never be trusted once the government has total control over it.

in a deflation cash is king (right up to a point of course).
india devalues it's currency that's not deflation that's inflation the opposite.

altho recently they had a little spike interestingly.
maybe cracking down on gold had it's expected result.

Every central bank does that. As I said, deflation will not be tolerated. If deflation happens, they just start printing money as they already do.

Central Banks buying bonds = printing money

Also the official inflation rate is way under the real inflation. So your deflation will still be inflation.

>> No.1861924

>>1861880
central banks can't effectively control the money supply. basically it's not up to them if we have deflation or not but it's up to them how hard or even insane the following inflation will be (at which time it would be a good idea to hold gold). but before that happens you will see a price fall across all asset classes including metals, it will be especially bad in real estate and stocks.

india wants a cashless system

this, ironically, skyrockets the demand for physical gold since its part of the culture and something you can hide from the less than trustworthy government

On the subject of India, don't forget to buy more Gold before the annual "Wedding Season".

The price always goes up
