The lawsuit had several sub-sections in it. Everything else got dismissed, but the securities portion was allowed to proceed. I think that either end of June, or end of July is the time, when it will be decided whether this will also be dismissed, or whether it will proceed to trial.

If it's dismissed, then it's full speed ahead for XRP. If not, then we have to wait for the end of the trial, which could be another several months.

you mean a free fall to sub zero prices

Most cryptos fail, so it's not an impossibility. If you're "all-in" on any coin, then you are a certified idiot. Unless you're only gambling with anything under $5,000, then you're just a shrimp, and you don't matter.

frankly, anyone who isn't juiced in (an exchange or dev or fucking WHALEADON in cahoots with an exchange or any combination of the above) must be a total drooling mongoloid retard to have anything more than $5000 in crypto at this point

If they lose their suit it's over for xrp. that simple.

In U.S., yes, but they are pretty heavy globally, especially in Asia: primarily in Japan, Singapore and South Korea. They have also recently made their way into China.

The price will initially plummet, though. Holders will bail so quickly after years of fanboyism.

But you have no idea just how virtually impossible it is for them to lose this suit. If they do somehow lose, all that will happen is that they will pay a measly fine and continue on. There's genuinely nothing to worry about.

Isn't it funny, if the securities lawsuit is dismissed, then the token isn't a security, therefore doesn't represent any intrinsic value that a security would by definition. If the lawsuit proceeds, then it does represent something of value and violates federal law. Both outcomes have an ERC20 token being both virtually and literally worthless.

Pretty sure it's 864 million.
