so question...there is a guy on ebay who sold me a $15 silver coin. It was suppose to be delivered by the 6th of this month. Two days ago, I called USPS asking where it was, and they told me they had no idea where it was even though it had tracking...so I said screw it and yesterday I filed a "I want my money back" report and the guy gave me a refund since it never came. After filing that request, he refunded me immediately and apologized to me since he has no idea what happened. Today, of course when I least expect it, it arrives in the mail. Now the seller said "you should send me back the coin even though the case is closed". Do I have to give it back despite hounding for it for weeks after expecting it and not getting any help from the seller? Does ebay expect me to return it?

If you want to keep the coin, pay him but make sure it's documented. The one thing to avoid is a he said she said eBay dispute with no documentation of transactions or what "he said" and "she said". I've been in the middle of these before, they're an absolute pain in the ass.
