If you haven't stocked up on food and whatever you count on using for the next year, I would get that sorted out. The point of buying the metals is to store you purchasing power to buy things you need later. If you don't already have food stored, get that now since that's what you'd be buying with your metals anyway. Only when you have that stuff stocked up and have extra cash, then store your purchasing power with PMs. Buying your food, etc. now stores it while there is still supply and at a price before any further inflation happens. If you're dead set on getting PMs, silver has more upside potential but gold will be a better longterm bet. I would get some physical metals before getting into paper metal.

Yes, they will definiately try to keep kicking the can, but that's not working for anything anymore, PM markets will be no different. People aren't going to want fake shit, and once the bigger players catch a whiff that physical demand is high and supply is shrinking, they'll call that shit in and in one day it'll all be gone. The big fish will get their physical because they're closest to governments, and the little hedge fund fuckers will have to settle in cash, which will be essentially worthless by the time this all happens. It's all a ticking time bomb but it's being ignored because of all the distractions in the rest of the minefield.

here let me put this in logic you could understand.
think if gaming consoles were like metals, now imagine what would happen if some wealthy people bought all the gaming consoles because they went on sale, just to hold and resale at higher values.
will they make more in the future sure, but if you want to play that badass game that just came out better shell out for that 100% premium

That analogy doesn't work at all. You don't play with gold, you just keep it in a safe. It doesn't make a difference in your day to day life. It's not even supposed to swing wildly, which is what makes it a store of value in the first place. Stock to flow and whatnot.
