ie 10k link to make it if they are $1,000 each.

Maybe you can make it with 5k Link if you invest it elsewhere after. In act, i'd think you would have to be a retard to be unable to make it with even $3,000,000 available to you.

10K Link just makes it idiot proof. Make it without doing anything else.

Most people who got in under $1 and have 10k stacks will sell most of it at 1000$ which will likely crash its first bubble and is enough for the OGs to make it anyway so they wont care about holding out for 10,0000,0000,000 per Link

1,000,000$ into boomer stocks = roughly 7% returns per year over long period.

You'll pay 20% of it to capital gains.
inflation is roughly 3% long term.

So If you only take out 4% per year of the gains on 1 million that is 40k USD. tax 20%(i have no idea what burger taxes are like, just know capital gains her) then you have 32K USD per year for nothing. If you are a wagecuck then you are set.

You can then invest in properties if you want, and collect the passive income. in 10 years that would be enough to have a good 2-3 properties without being leveraged up to your fucking neck.

That is with a suicide stack.
As you can see, it's not enough to "make it" very fast but its enough to have a petty easy life and not be left wanting for anything.

Now if you did that with a make it stack of 10k that's technically over 300K USD per year.

You do have to reinvest for a 1k stack to make it. Compounding will turn that 32k / year into 100k / year pretty quick though (not biz quick, but lifetime quick). So yes, you are right. It's not a make it stack in the sense that you've made it right away, but it's enough to ensure any halfway competent person *can* make it in their lifetime

I suppose if you did let it compound for a decade without taking the principle out tht would be better.
Just made the assumption that you want to retire straight away when Link hits 1k or something.

You are correct though. that is why 1K link has always been a "suicide" stack.
It's enough to still make it if you try, and not commit sashimi.

Consider this

Assuming chainlink does become the standard for smart contracts mechanics and goes to the moon, would it not be a safe bet to reinvest that money in ETH, as that IS the standard for crypto smart contracts, do you think it would be fair to cash out of link and put it all into ETH before the bubble pops, or just go with future proof boomer stocks like Microsoft?

A second thought, if link and ETH are smart contract necessities, how would you feel about selling at lets say 900 per coin, wait for it to get to 1k and crash, then reinvest. If it was at that amount of money, that means that smart contracts are universal and used for countless things. The link bubble would pop but due to excessive use in smart contracts, it wont be dead forever and will begin to rise again. Or is that a retarded line if thinking

Checked. I will probably sell 7% of my link at a time at certain price points (e.g. $100, $250, $500, etc.) until I've sold approximately half my link and create a slush fund. From this slush fund, I will most likely pull about half of it out and reinvest the other half in crypto during dips. I will continue this process over and over until I've pulled about half my gains completely out of crypto and into other investments.

I suppose you could reinvest it into ETH but at that point you're making the assumption ETH will remain the dominant smart contract platform (which is an iffy bet as some "experts" like Szabo are beginning to doubt it). I think it's safer to stay in Chainlink as its blockchain agnostic and no other oracle service really compares/rivals it.

In terms of your second thought I suppose you could do that but it's pretty much a gamble... personally if we reach that point I'm going to sell 90% of my stack and invest it into some boomer investment vehicles such as real estate and let the other 10% ride.

>> No.18540244

>>18540064
Interesting, never considered selling off pieces at certain points, ill keep that in mind.

As far as reinvesting goes, that's why I mention eth, its hard to deny smart contracts are the future, so I can definitely see putting money back into that as it dips along with other crypto. I don't plan on doing real estate investing, as I actually have a soul, so its either re investing in the big crypto as a method, or just going all in on Microsoft since the are future proof. Do you have anything specific in mind, fren?
>>18540154
Didn't know ETH was beginning to be doubted, thanks for the pro tip. I just hate the idea of real estate investing, it just seems fucking wrong to me. My mother is in the real estate business and she is partnered with fuck tons of real estate investors. Maybe its just because I hate landlords, but to be fair pretty much all her investors are in houses and not scummy complexes, and these houses are million dollar ranch homes in Colorado. I don't know man, just doesn't seem right.

Eth is no longer a sure thing.

They are going to have to completely abandon Eth 1.0 for 2.0. It's basically a new item from the ground up. They have only just got through the theoretical side of the roadmap in 3 years.
I repeat, they have barely started the meat of the work. It's probably 5 years away.

it would focus on the life of a loser neet virgin who is well into his 40s by the time the movie is made. it would tell the story of his earlier isolated, sad life & how it was transformed after he discovers an obscure mongolian basket weaving forum on the internet where one day a strange insider posts about ..chainlink, at a time before it was known to the rest of the world (of course when the movie is made, chainlink will be as well known as apple or Microsoft or Samsung). it contrast this early period with what happens to him when link moons to 1000$ within the space of 18 months, and his 50k stack is now worth 50,000,000

This is good, but it doesn't quite feel right. In my opinion, the destination really should take a back seat to the journey. Having some loser neet as the main character makes sense, but it wouldn't be bad to maybe add one or two other people who are separate from the main character (like in The Big Short). Showing important moments in chainlink's history like the 2017 bull run and the subsequent crash, mainnet, etc. and how their lives are at each moment. All the characters should be struggling in different ways, but maybe one character sells the bottom and offs himself by the end of the movie. And maybe the other side character sells too early, but is still fairly well of from his investment.
And there absolutely needs to be mentions of Sergey throughout the film, mainly in passing, which culminate in a scene toward the end where our main character meets Sergey for the first time in person and thanks him for everything. To which Sergey probably wouldn't say much, maybe just nod and keep on walking out of the conference.
