Yes, buy that completely random spike during a multi-year bear market that just dropped 60% and has shown no real signs of recovery yet.

Everyone knows you should buy the tops of V shaped recoveries, completely safe there's just no way to lose money.

Well that is the safest way to never lose coins. We are on the precipice of switching from bear to bull, so I don't recommend suddenly finding the courage and selling it all during the coming dip or even during the run that will follow it.

However, for the next bear market you should try to recognize the blow off top and sell at that point if you want to make a profit. There's really no point in holding an asset while it's crashing. Personally I expect us to wick down again in order to find the bottom of this market. V-shaped recoveries pretty much never result in a new bull trend. What I want to see is crabbing followed by a nice rounded dip and recovery like how a child would draw a bird in the distance. At around 3 to 3.8k.

It already double bottomed at $80. BTC also double bottomed at its 200 week SMA. I don't think we will retest those lows.
