A very tight ascending wedge, pandemic conditions, and an inflation-tending dollar contribute an uncertain market. There's also the fact that the vast majority of traders who panic sold and fled during the March dump were institutional investors. The fact is these same investors want back in before the bitcoin halving and the market WILL drop to get them back in. So while I'm sitting on Tether right now, I have buy orders ready to go before May.
Portfolio Setup - 16 Assets, 20% Threshold rebalance. This maximizes average returns based on Bittrex's fees and liquidity.
BTC = 40% Mildly Conservative Bitcoin leaning for halving.
ETH = 10% An obvious 2nd
LINK = 10% Too much growth and partnerships to ignore
Tezos = 5% Staking Coin, Algorand would be great if Bittrex (US) had it
DAI = 5% Stable Coin, less regulation-risk, use Compound for 8% apr
Numeraire = 3.5%
Decentraland = 3.5% two "moon-shots" Cosmos = 3%
Komodo = 3%
Augur = 3%
Golem = 3% Alt-coins I feel have strong use-cases
BAT = 2%
0x = 2%
Enjin Coin = 2%
Hive = 2% Alt-coins that POTENTIALLY strong use cases.
90% is kept in cold storage with the 10% used for rebalance trading on exchange.
Tezos is staked or delegated if you don't have the startup capital. DAI is put into Compound for the 8% APR.
