Tesla is too disconnected from reality to even think about. Hope you hate money if you're touching it with a million mile pole.

I finally found a platform to buy puts on Tesla from yurop, and I just did a few hours ago. And I already doubled my money. This shit seems too easy to be true.

I drive a Tesla and after driving one for six months, I will never short Tesla because you will lose. Aside from some build quality issues that were handled flawlessly, this is the best car I've ever owned.

>> No.18480491

>>18479695
I'm sure it is. The car could literally cure cancer, but Tesla would still be overpriced. This isn't about saying Tesla is bad or will fail completely, it's just that their market cap is completely ridiculous compared to the actual state of the market. They are worth more than other car manufacturers that sell 50x more cars than they do, and unlike Tesla church out a consistent, huge profit. There's no way to justify that, not even promises of future growth.

Fucking this.
I looked at it when it dipped to 450$. Thought to myself. Who will buy a Tesla when oil is so cheap?

There is nothing, nothing right now that supports their price.

But shorting it? If it's going up from nothing now, who tells you it won't keep going up?
It's a roulette game. It's betting for the sake of betting!

no way, tesla has to keep pumping and it will. It gives faith to other investors to buy other risky assets. If it goes down it would be like bitcoin going down, it would every other shitcoin with it.

Do you think that people are buying on information about the technology, or do you think that people are buying with the HOPE that they will create a breakthrough technology we don't know about?

The thing is, out of any of the recent companies on the market, despite all the stupid shit that he may do, the man inspires hope. This is a major sensation for people who really believe 'in him', and fuels certainly much of the crowd appeal.

Do you guys think that Tesla as a company will be able to implement any of Nikola Tesla's later work (which is normally either considered mad or daft)?

>> No.18483320

>>18479695
you're a typical reddit onion boy
I'm also a Tesla owner but in their stock do not worth this much, period

just admit it you never drove a car that accelerates 4.5s in your life so you became a Muskbot. I drove M4, AMG GTR all that shits. Tesla is amazing in the price range sure. But put price aside, this car is not 2 3 times better than other makes. So when Old big german companies catch up, I assume they make so many similar cars. And cheap price car manufactures are even richer than luxury brand. They for sure will build something cheaper and similar to Tesla.

Again it's a good car but far exceeds its stock value. "no competitors in 10 years" is just a blant lie no real investors would take you seriously

>> No.18483411

>>18483320
Don't underestimate the amount of influence from germany with their recent acquiring of Grohmann Automation in their future developments. Do you understand how in terms of implemented software in a vehicle they are at least 6 years ahead by data alone? Certainly others may have breakthroughs for similar based models but the entire idea here is that they will be creating things much farther ahead of the market, as they already have.

To be honest, I'm not much of a fan boy of the company nor even of Elon himself. But rather of OG Tesla, and what many of his visions actually entailed -- aliens and all.

>> No.18483753

>>18483411
again his vision does not worth this much of value. Tesla is not Apple. their core strength is not unmatch-able. Their self-driving is dominating now but they're not the only player. several tech companies have better Lidar self-driving. and they do have built good fundamentals now but it can be matched by traditional car manufactures
of course tesla will not "fall". They probably eat up a big pie of the market share before others catch up. But comparing their stock price to Apple is just foolish. mobiles market shares belong to iphone and everybody has whatever is left. And not to mention how stubborn people are toward automobiles. Tesla may steal some costumers for now but not their loyalty once other automakers have similar products

Bears are going to keep short squeezing this fucking thing until the market cap is higher than AMZN.

>Do you guys think that Tesla as a company will be able to implement any of Nikola Tesla's later work (which is normally either considered mad or daft)?
No.
Elon will create other companies for it.
Do people think they are investing in SpaceX when they buy TSLA?
They are not. If there is an IPO, it will be a different stock.

Tesla is a auto maker, not a tech company.
The more they grow, the less tech they will be.

Even if Tesla had the best self-driving.
Look at the market cap! It's non-sense, Tesla market cap is currently 2nd only to Toyota in the US. They are the only manufacturer on green right now, it's crazy. Toyota and others have factories running worldwide, Tesla has one in Shangay and is only building Chinese Teslas.

No.

CIA made sure to bury all of Tesla's GOOD work.
