My vision of the future (barring some natural catastrophe like a solar EMP or volcanic supereruption) is a quick hyperinflationary nightmare followed by a slow burn depression that lasts a few years, not as long as previous depressions because of our advances in tech. I believe that the only place you're going to see SHTF conditions are in large cities with jungle folk. I believe the government will be forced to do something different with the money-- word is pretty much out about the nature of fiat-- and it will either go to a gold-backed digital dollar or a pure blockchain

Solution. Either way, I stack silver because it's being used increasingly in important modern tech like cars, solar panels, missiles.
