If they could, consider what the impact would be to their respective market caps. Basically, Tezos's price is a direct reflection of sentiment that Ethereum is fucking up.

the idea is that it is self-governing. proposals to the project are made by the devs and voted by stakers on-chain. if it gets voted for, it gets implemented. therefore, Tezos should always have the latest tech in the industry unlike Eth which is still stuck with 2017 tech. proposals have already been implemented using this mechanism and it's working great. the next one up that should be proposed is privacy/zksnarks
