Fantom works better than ETH 2.0 right now. Why don't we just move on from that shitcoin?

this are dapps on main net. you can test transactions speed and finality. and yes, it does everything that ethereum does, but faster, with already working proof of stake.

I'm not saying this is the next eth, not even saying this will ever moon, but to say that tech is shit and that fantom is a scam is just utter nonsense and any one believing that with no research is just another moron

no need to believe me, research it..

Why would I develop for Fantom over ETH? All the development tools are being developed for ETH first and foremost. I can raise funds selling my own shitcoin on ETH. Scaling is going to be handled by Chainlink. What benefit would there to be on a platform with no audience?

Fantom is just trying to be ETH. I haven't seen anything that it is doing that sets it apart and is needed.

>> No.18478680

you know what EVM(ethereum virtual machine) is right? basically it allows smart contracts to be executed on network.

well fantom has built-in support for EVM, which means you can use eth development tools to build on fantom, also it means that smart contract written for ethereum, will also work on fantom but at greater speed. you can actually copy/paste contract from ethereum to fantom and it will work. :)

why would you develop for fantom? it's faster, much faster

>Scaling is going to be handled by Chainlink
maybe scaling is going to be handled, but question is when.. but one thing here is for sure, it definitely won't be chainlink, because how d fuck are oracles gonna scale ethereum wtf?

>What benefit would there to be on a platform with no audience?
well there's a lack of public now yea, but who know what happens in future.. you must know that one killer dapp can make a huge difference. also there are people out there that don't even want to look into the project, because they heard it's a scam.. once big players come in, sheeps will follow

either way, I don't care which one moons, I hold both

fantom is a known scam

>> No.18479039

idk, you should ask that in their discord, if you are really interested, but probably not as many and not such big companies. ever heard of bitcoin enterprise alliance? no, right.. I know how retarded this sounds but I just want to show you that this means shit. also, even if some enterprises are building on top of ethereum, once they realize that they can migrate to a better(faster, cheaper,...) platform with no extra costs, what do you think they will do? it's netscape all over again(check netscape and you will see, that even big ones can fall pretty easy)

>>18478769
if it's a known scam, then there must be some proof, right? please, do provide. :))

this are not shills, I'm NOT telling you to buy ftm. I just want to show you that fantom's tech is fucking amazing and they don't even get credits for it.

>maybe scaling is going to be handled, but question is when.. but one thing here is for sure, it definitely won't be chainlink, because how d fuck are oracles gonna scale ethereum wtf?

By turning oracles into EVMs. you know what EVM(ethereum virtual machine) is right? basically it allows smart contracts to be executed on network, but in this case, the computations are handled off chain in the oracles, and the final results will be settled on chain.

>well there's a lack of public now yea, but who know what happens in future.. you must know that one killer dapp can make a huge difference. also there are people out there that don't even want to look into the project, because they heard it's a scam.. once big players come in, sheeps will follow

It's fine to believe in the project, but you can't go around calling people sheeps as there isn't anything concrete to go by that will drive developers to leave Ethereum's platform. This isn't at all like Chainlink where they were the only ones solving a big problem in a unique way and had the institutional backing supporting it. You still ignored the ERC-20 token comment and that's a major reason as to why Ethereum took off. You can't replace that with "oh, just use FTM". Creating your own shares that can be influenced in value and have other utility functions in projects is a big deal.
