the 2 minute fud is a legit criticism of the project, and obviously limits its use case. it's not designed to be the fasted oracle, it's designed to be the most decentralized and accurate oracle. I can think of many use cases where the delay doesn't matter. obviously not price feeds for trading...but say for example you wanted a betting pool contract that closes and distributes winnings when a external condition is met. US presidential election or something... how to get that data into the smart contract and insure that it's accurate? teller makes sense.

PoW offers no advantage over simple schelling point if there isn't any nakamoto consensus involved, nodes aren't disincentivized to post fraudulent data because it's financially unrewarding (as is the case with nakamoto consensus and PoW), they are disincentivized by getting slashed an or excluded through schelling point in the case that their response gets challenged, why not just use plain schelling point then (augur, kleros, uma, etc.), PoW offers no additional security in this point because all it does is offer a game with a reward, PoW is pointless without nakamoto consensus

The team themselves admitted this, even the fact that Maker can't even use them right now where they're currently at. Because they're so genuine and transparent you kinda get the feeling people are investing more in them and giving time for the project to mature. They made big changes in the V2 update, so I have faith in the future development. It definitely will NOT disrupt link, however as the more decentralized option it will have it's niche, so it hitting a 40-50 million cap is all but guaranteed this year, so a 10x at least
