The coronavirus or more accurately the government response to it (quarantine) has been utterly destructive to the economy, tens of millions in the US alone has lost their job, most business' have almost no earnings atm.
Yet the stockmarket is doing surprisingly well, trading around 15% lower than the ATH.
I think a large part of this is due to actions taken by the government and the FED to buy everything and borrow money to everyone. Hence the reason why the stockmarket is gonna go parabolic, you effectively reduced the risk of investing, if the stockmarket ever drops significantly again - the buying will resume. There are no events that could cause the stockmarket to trade lower than it did the year before, because there is a reluctant buyer of godlike potential that won't allow it. Investing in index funds will yield guaranteed year to year return, and i think the market will come to reflect this guarantee, that having money in S&P 500 not only give you higher returns than having money in the bank but the risk is also smaller, because the individual bank can go out of business, the index fund can't and it will never lose value over a 12 month periode.
