>bitcoin debit cards

Oh god that sounds awful

>in 20 years you lay awake at night, remembering that time you bought McDonalds for an amount of BTC that will buy you a house today.

You convert crypto to fiat in an app and the card stores fiat not crypto. Meaning if you can liquify elsewhere e.g. shakepay in canada, then theres no use for a crypto debit card at all.

So basically i give my bitcoin to someone, and said someone store the ammount of Bitcoin, and when i use the card the entity sells bitcoin for fiat and pays immediately?

>A certain company has a certain amount of dollars or euros.
>They make a debit card.
>When the user of the card swipes it at a store, the store gets cash from the debit company, and in exchange they deduct an equivalent amount from the user's bitcoin stash.
The store doesn't get bitcoin, they get cash. There ARE stores who get bitcoin but they are so rare that it doesn't matter for our discussion.
