I knew a guy in college who started to create a start-up for his shitcoin. it was basically bitcoin, but it hinged on facial recognition. he thought it was so fucking brilliant that he was scared to tell anyone, and his idea slipped out drunkenly.
anyways, its ass backwards retarded. a digital currency with no anonymity. he was intent on making some kind of business out of this. i told him if hes so certain his idea is priceless, he should talk to an IP lawyer, but hes afraid his idea is so priceless that his IP lawyer will just steal it.
so im sure if he takes to a venture capitol firm he'll raise a few hundred million, and i bet its value will spike on hype alone for a year, before crashing to what it deserves.
if he gets off his ass and pitches it to some boomer finance people motivated solely by FOMO, ill make sure to shill it on /biz/
