Like I said last thread, I got calls on TSM. Their biggest risk exposure is the 5G stuff going on right now, but TSM is a large company, and also being in Taiwan they're basically not affected by the epidemic. Their e/ps is expected to do pretty well this earnings cycle as well. The calls I'm going to buy are pretty cheap too, at 0.75 per contract and all the way out to July, but if TSM goes up a decent 7% by Thursday I'll be making double my money at least.
Earnings is Thursday, so if anyone else wants to join in, do it before then.

CFDs and spread betting are fundamentally different. You're buying a contract based on an underlying security with a CFD. I always let the trade run. This is how I trade

>Find a good area to place my entry
>Set the trade up including my stop loss and profit targets (usually 5-10 PT's)
>Gets an entry
>Wait for price to bounce and find support
>Move stop loss to break-even

I then just manage the trade by moving the stop loss up under important levels, so if price were to come down crashing for whatever reason I will get stopped out in profit (vice versa when I enter a short). The amount I risk is only 0.20%-0.40%, the largest risk I have ever done was around 1.5% because the opportunity was just too good and decided to risk more than usual

BUT the collapse in commodities pricing is deflationary. The collapse of demand for everything but Campbell's Soup and Charmin's Untrasoft is very deflationary.

Inflation is usually connected with rising wages. Considering wages are dropping to 0 for much of the workforce, I don't expect an uptick in inflation until the economy unironically bottoms.

But since you say hiding USD in your mattress, you must understand some of this. However, if your bank is FDIC insured, your 500k should be safe.
