Been in the crypto game since the beginning. I can assure you the sentiment now is much better than 2015. I stopped looking at anything crypto related for over two years. When in doubt stop following it.

It's a fucking meme. The price is literally determined by what people are willing to pay for it. Right now, everything is in the shitter, there are people who are buying right now because they think things will get better soon and they'll make a profit buying it for cheap now. As things get worse and people need actual money to pay for things they'll sell it all off dirt cheap. The only value memecoins have is they can be exchanged for other currencies. You can't buy food or pay rent with memecoins

4chan is probably the most pro-crypto demographic you're going to find. I own a little.

If you missed it at advent, you missed it. I think people consider it a weird insurance policy play, but it's really just a volatile stock and much riskier than gold as insurance. I think others think it's this post-fiat dystopian currency, but the fact that we don't know where it all is and govt's can't control it makes that dubious. Though I think it will become more stable with age, I also think it will become obsolete/superseded when quantum/AI become a reality.

Chamath Palihapitiya I admire a lot, he claims to own about 5% of it IIRC, obviously bullish but also has a good finger on the pulse.

Starting to have doubts about all this lottery ticket shit anyone got any words of hope? I'm about $800 in the hole. I think I'm going to stop playing. I did budget and expect to lose it all from the start. I know the odds are terrible. I know it's a waste of money from an investing perspective. I just wanted a little bit of hope. I might just limit to one ticket a draw from now on with Lotto America or Lucky 4 Life instead of wasting $20+ weekly on the Powerball and Megamillions each.

Desperation is starting to come, i can feel it.
We were safe into our basements and our autism prevented us to see.
But in the end this fucking world seems a giant meme.
Now that economy is collapsing i don't feel very safe here.
Problem is that i don't know what else do, my perspectives are very narrow at the moment.

Not sure if my IP is the same but yes, actual lottery tickets. I have about 3k month left over after expenses and I spend about $20 to $40 a week on lottery tickets.

I've still got hope, but I actually got out of crypto back in 2018 and just post here sometimes for fun. Currently waiting on a coin to get out of testnet before I just back in and begin the wild ride anew

real currencies will switch to crypto (example is the JPM coin - its a bank using crypto model to improve its transactions..). Meme currencies themselves will not be the currencies of future themselves. They're just a demo, a proof-of-concept. Because.. thats not how people's value in money works.

I'm sorry.

i will add this - i do like how the HODLGANG is essentially funding plethora of software developers and their research, by pumping real money in, even though they do it in hopes to get more real money out eventually. So.. it's a positive story overall, even though the majority of fags with dreams of getting rich quick will be sad in the end of it.

Doubts? Now?
Christ if this thing was ever going to break out again, it's now.
Yes it could crash to nothing.
Or it could take off to the moon.
Either way, it's bound to be exciting. I can't imagine that crypto is just going to hold steady while the rest of the world is on fire.

If the rocket does take off for the moon, are you willing to be the person who got cold feet and sold his seat right before liftoff?
