I just keep mine in a high yield savings account. You want that money to be as liquid as possible so you can use it in an emergency instead of going into deep debt

Go back to school for something better.

I was an idiot and got my B.S. in Physics.
Only decent job I could find was contract work for the AFRL.

Going back to school and getting my MS in Data Science this fall, I can’t continue making $50k a year, it’s soul crushing.

Not really. I’m a CPA and not a retard like you. Roth isn’t really worth it if you expect to be in a lower tax bracket when you withdraw from your 401(k). Which is most people.

Most people live on a lower income from their pension than they were earning from their job, which is affordable as they have paid off their mortgage by then.

How is Roth a meme? I sell weekly covered calls through my Roth and don't pay taxes on it where as you would normally pay short term gains on every weekly contract. Billionaire investors like Peter Thieo have Roth IRA's with a balance of $100MM+ that will be 100% tax free when he cashes it out l. Also high leverage plays in a Roth IRA are super juicy.

No, you don’t know how to do a tax provision. I guarantee it. You don’t know ASC 740. You ain’t a real CPA.

I've truly never heard of an argument hurr durr you can't do provision for income taxes. Its not even difficult. Did you not pass REG?
BTW ASC 740 doesn't even apply to Roth IRAs. Dumbass again.
Contribute to 401(k) the minimum amount to get the company match, then max out the Roth IRA, use it to buy link in a self-directed IRA structure, LLC owned by the IRA, and if have more left over contribute the remaining to the 401k to the annual limit.
There you go best advice on all of biz for today, I literally told you all how to make it.
Pic related is proof I know what I am doing and talking about.

>> No.18416322

>>18416272
I'm not saying Roth IRAs have to do with ASC 740. I'm saying real CPAs know ASC 740. REG doesn't cover ASC 740. FAR barely touches it, and I'm willing to bet that you don't know it. Knowledge of ASC 740 is the key factor between a real CPA and a "CPA." You are the latter.
