Ethereum is way too complicated and its a guarantee the code quality for eth 2.0 is going to be complete shit and full of bugs. Think about the average person you know and realize that's pretty much how smart people are in general, and people just like this are currently crapping out eth 2.0 code after going to a 3 week blockchain boot camp. Protocol changes need to move very slowly and conservatively to protect against how fucking dumb human beings are and btc is the only coin that values that approach
