My personal rule is to never buy silver bars above 1 ounce. There is a high payout to counterfeiters if they can fool you to buying a fake 10 ounce bar (even though the one in your pic is real based on what I have seen from the seller and the fact that it's cheap because its a plain boring design nobody wants).
You will want to stick to liquidity. If you sell silver, you will want to naturally want to appeal to buyers. I personally learned this the hard way. If you sell that bar to a store, they will pay a little under spot.

This is where silver eagles come in. Personally I hate them, but I ONLY buy them because I know they appeal to every coin shop in the world. You will get spot and even a little extra cash.

Silver eagles are like freshly baked cookies and stores can smell em a mile a way and want to buy em all from you.

Generic silver are like special discount last-day-before-tossed ground beef. It almost stinks and nobody really wants it but they will buy it for cheap.

Trust me, after selling a fuck ton of generic silver in my life, silver eagles get respect.

New to silver market, saw lady in robe, they're obviously aiming for iconography. I'm only passively glancing at the thumbnail image because I didn't even consider someone trying to rip off a design at one of these "legitimate" sellers. I've only ever purchased gold buffalos and wanted to get some silver before shortages. I got my timing right since silver was still in stock everywhere when I did, but I definitely didn't get what I was expecting. When I saw them in real life I immediately knew they weren't silver eagles.

Still over on the other hand you need at least 50~100oz to even start making it. 1,000oz is true making it tier, 10,000oz makes you the new aristocracy or whatever. You need around 100oz of gold to reach this tier.

Few days ago I asked a question and the answers were split. Should I focus on silver eagles or go for raw silver ounces to get the most for my money. Coins sell for more, the 2020 eagles more so if mints are closed and this is the last year of the current design, but will it sell more by an amount that competes against the bulk silver ounces I get in bars even if it sells for less?

I have $4000

Silver is a great hobby I bought my first at a yard sale as an 8 yearold in 1972. The woman said those are fake. Those being four blue folders with $12 face that I bought for less than $1. Sold near the height of the hunt Bros surge a few years later at 15 times made like a hundred bagger as an8 year old

Bought lots of silver at yard sales since including 100 Franklin mint silver $rounds with postal covers for $2 when silver was selling for $7.

Bought two leafs one for $349 and the other $351 . Point being that buy low sell high. Y'all should be selling physicalsilver and hedging with e silver for a huge immediate profit.

panning, depends on a lot of things. Weather, is the big factor, and what ground I am working on. My placer claims in the high country northern BC are excellent, I recovered 21 ounces by hand two years ago and last year only 11 due to poor weather. Best year I ever had placer mining was 70 ounces by digging out this amazing gut of a bedrock channel in the Barkerville area, guyet placer is the name of the area if you want to look for your self. I ve done better though from doing work on hardrock claims, not mining them but proving the ground up and selling it off to bigger companies for a percentage.

Guys, I have a quick question

I placed a bunch of large orders recently at Apmex. About 7 or 8 different orders. All of them total'd out to be close to $80k. One of my orders was around $1k, in which I bought a bunch of 1 oz silver coins. 17 kangaroos, 17 lunar mouse (series 3), and 13 2010 Philharmonics. Those 13 philharmonics were the last of the bunch. I finally received the order, and I received everything, but only 8 philharmonics, and in place of the other 5 I was given generic silver rounds.

This happened a few weeks ago and I've debated calling them and complaining, since it's really so small in the end, but on the other hand. Silver rounds are fucking cheaper than the austrian harmonics, why couldn't they replace the harmonics with a similarly valued coin if they ran out of the harmonics?

Should i be a jew and call apmex and complain? I feel like I have a right to since I have ordered so much from them recently.
