We've printed over 6 trillion dollars in like 3 weeks. They is no economy right now, there is no work, there is record unemployment, and almost 50% of small businesses will permanently close after quarantine is lifted... and it might not even lift at the end of the month!

The Fed now has their finger on a button, and if they lift it, the market implosion will make 2008 look like a dip. They can trigger this whenever they want, it's almost as if they're playing god with all of us fucking peons.

I am indifferent because I have no investments, just 80k in cash in various trading accounts, stocks and crypto... and I'm not worried about inflation because the BRRR'ing won't effect the value of USD quite yet, but it will soon.

Someone, preferably not a retard, please explain this shit to me. I need some clarity.

Fed basically has to print about that much to backstop economic activity for a quarter such that the shutdown doesn't actually fucking destroy us

turns out the chinky flu was a dramatic overreaction and we'll probably be opened sooner rather than later, which means we're all getting back to work PLUS we'll have 5tn of stimulus at our back to pump this fucker

all this printing is going to devalue the USD so things like gold and btc are gonna pump, as well as equities since they're an inflation hedge to some extent.

tail risks to upside include this working out in ways we don't yet understand and leading to essentially a new era of American growth, especially if we can get a huge infra bill passed since rates are so low it costs nothing to borrow from the future
