I’m a total newb moron and finally got robinhood. Is there anyone I can follow or something and do the same trades as to learn the ropes? I go to the stock threads but all the terminology and stuff is overwhelming and confusing for me because I’m kind of slow. Any help is appreciated.

95% of traders end up losing money trading.

Those very few that do end up profitable, usually go through at least 2 years of bad trades before they start being profitable.
And that's 2-4 years of FULL TIME trading.

That's why most successful trader stories you'll see online are the ones who don't need money to survive
(e.g. rich kids like Steven Dux who received $20k from his parents as "initial trading allowance", or neets that live in their parents' basements eating their parents' food, like legendary Japanese traders CIS and BNF, or already rich businessmen like Warren Buffett, etc.)

If you can't afford to burn money for 2-4 years straight as your "trading tuition", just do the normie strategy and just buy and hold.

Mostly everyone else trading that doesn't belong to the groups above are degenerate gamblers to will eventually lose all their money.

Robinhood has proven to be unreliable when it counts. It has no advanced market data, no advanced order types, and is extremely rudimentary. Webull on the other hand has all of that without being gimped in order to be considered "free." it's pretty much the best you get in the free category. Also adding crypto trading soonish, just added options recently. Only thing missing is no interest on cash, but that's not a big deal IMHO. I have a bank if I want to bank.

This is good advice. I lost about 65k my first 2 years of trading. If you're literally coming to biz to learn what to do to make it as a full time trader, my best advise to you would be to turn 360 degrees and walk away. Use what ever of that savings you were going to invest to support your self until you can find a new career. Unless you're literally sitting with enough cash for a 6 month emergency fund and money to burn just focus on paying off debt, and building a 6 month emergency fund. I was debt free before I started, and yeah eventually I'll make all that money back and then some, but you're going to have to make mistakes to learn.. Everybody makes mistakes, and the name of the game is risk management. Sorry you just lost your job, but this shit isn't as glamorous as you'd think. You literally have to better at it than 90% of people that do it. Then you also have to remember that the median average of people that do this kind of work are of above average intelligence, and yet most of us are still fucking retarded.

I mostly use Robinhood because I’m not a neet. I have a lot of friends, and I talk about stocks sometimes.
Robinhood has a decent referral program. I get a shit ton of free stocks on a weekly basis from helping friends get interested in investments.
I’m not a normie who panic sales. I predict what’s going to happen and I make my moves.
4chan is about 3-4 hours ahead of the news cycle, unless it’s major. Then it’s 30-60 minutes.
