I think a lot about that - early retirement that is. Even so much as what IS early - 50 years old? How much do you need to happily retire early? In the northeast you need at least double what you'd need in Texas. My 401k is $140,000 with a separate $70,000 in dividend stocks, 0 debt and about $40,000 in the bank but it still feels like working until 65 is necessary to be comfortable.
