Being fit is about discipline and hard work. As long as you can stick to a program you can get fit pretty quickly.

Being rich is a moving target, what worked yesterday won't work today. There's a discipline route, but it takes decades, instead of months. You can also get lucky and become rich, you can't really fall ass backwards into fit though.

I have to admit that's true despite being a 2017 newfag. It took me a while to get out of the mindset of chasing the new moonshot which leads to the behaviour you described. After realizing what a retard I was for going to these threads falling for a few scams I started avvoiding bait threads about moonshots and started going to threads that looked retarded but ended up reading some high-IQ posts in them. And I'm talking about business and finance in general. A sad truth is that said threads are rare nowadays and the smart anons are far fewer or the retards are way more. Unless your starting point is obese, it only takes a year and if you exercise a few hours a week and watch every calorie you’ll be really fit after a year of strong discipline.

Starting from middle class it takes years to decades of discipline and level headed investing, especially evident in the bear markets for most assets now.

If you started doing fit gospel since BTC was at an ATH you’d be shredded by now. Investing is just a longer game. (Most people don’t come to the board as entrepreneurs)

Being fit is a guarantee if you work hard because everybody's biology reacts to it the same way. It's actually one of the only things you that you can change about your body that 100% works for everyone. Being rich takes smarts and luck and you basically have to compete with other people so not everyone can be winners.
