Basically if you went on EI after March 15th or made at least 5k last year and aren't working NOW because of COVID-19 you get 2000 loonies(1000 twoonies) a month. Also it pauses your EI so you can resume normal benefits after CERB

i only worked 3.25 months last summer but i made $9000. the application is asking if i worked 4 months in the last year. do i still qualify? i think i would qualify for regular EI cause i have ~560 insurable hours

I didn't get laid off so I'm still waging (from home now at least). If I just voluntarily quit my job can I claim this since I earned more than 5k last year? What counts as "because of COVID"? If I quit my job and say I was concerned about getting the virus or that I started feeling symptoms will they send me the money?
